JEFFREY HOWELL

I began my professional career with The Walt Disney Company where I was a “skipper” on the infamous Disneyland attraction…the Jungle Cruise. It was there my love for the entertainment industry began as I saw all the energy and excitement of putting on a show behind-the-scenes. Subsequently, I interned in various departments including the Advertising/Creative Department helping to cast talent for marketing materials to help with the promotion of the new land, ToonTown.

Serving as the Celebrity/Talent Coordinator for the Los Angeles-based magazine, Journal of Longevity, I also pursued an acting career for nearly a decade in which I performed in several pilots, commercials and films, including James Cameron’s epic Titanic. I'm a former member of SAG/AFTRA and was elected to the Screen Actor’s Guild Nominating committee in both 2001 and 2005. I was also an active participant with the Hollywood Film Society. While no longer performing, I gained valuable experience on the internal workings of the industry. It gave me valuable insight on the requirements of industry professionals, including filmmakers.
